Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Hard to believe it is time for another coffee lovers bloghop
I decided to decorate and make a coffee themed rock for this hop.

I chose this rock because of the flat surface. I liked the colors of gray and brown in the rock. It made me think of vintage images. I cleaned the rock with water and dried it off.

I chose some designer paper that had a vintage look. I stamped
STAMPlorations FRAMED TEACUPS
I cut some of the frame off so it would fit the rock.
I could have just added it like this and it would have been pretty, but I wanted to make it just a little bit MORE interesting.

I stamped the cups onto various designer papers.

I then cut out the individual cups.

I glued the cups to the original stamped image.
See ... don't the additional patterns on the cups make it just a little MORE interesting?

I stamped the sentiment using
STAMPlorations ANYWHERE THERE"S COFFEE set

I then used Mod Podge to adhere them to the rock. I also added several layers of Mod Podge to seal the rock. I added gold metallic rub to enhance the rocks texture.

Time for another Coffee Lovers Bloghop

I decided to decorate a rock.
I used STAMPlorations ANYWHERE THERE IS COFFEE

I painted a rock with light blue acrylic paint. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon ink. I cut a little coffee cup out of designer paper and used mod podge to adhere it to the rock. I also stamped COFFEE from one of the stamps onto the same designer paper and cut it out for the other side with a cut out image of coffee beans. I covered the whole rock with more mod podge to seal it.  I then added some gold metallic rub to add some bling. Not to find a place to hide my rock for someone to find.
Have you decorated a rock yet? If you have let me know in the comments.

STAMPlorationsTYPOGRAPHIA in Faith blog hop

I know it has been awhile since I last posted, but a move and other circumstances have made the past few months a bit stressful and crafting took a back seat to life. Hopefully now that I am settling in I will have more time to craft and share. I am so excited that STAMPlorations has  new series of scripture stamps called "TYPOGRAFIA in faith"
I am sharing a couple of projects that I made using these new stamps.

The first project used:

I painted a board with light blue paint and used Hidden Hearts stencil
and added dark blue and green paint. I stamped the butterfly and painted it. I stamped the  scripture to the side. I really like how this wall hanging looks. I am so thankful that God gives me a chance to start each day with a fresh new start. The failures of yesterday are gone.

My second project is a bookmark. I used the following:

I used the light and dark blue paints along with green and painted the bookmark. Then I stamped the scripture

This last project I wanted to share with you didn't use one of the new scripture  stamps but used STAMPlorations Mini Mixed Media Backgrounds stamp. I used the paints from the other two projects on a rock. I then stamped the music notes randomly on the rock. I added some gold with some metallic gold rub. I then painted the rock with mod podge. I had a dear friend from college, who passed away last week. He was a fabulous musician and teacher. I wanted a way to honor his
life. I plan to place this rock at  local park in memory of him.
.

I hope you will join us at the TYPOGRAPHIA in faith hop this Wednesday.
